Data Privacy

We handle and store submitted data in accordance with the regulations of the Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetzes, BDSG) as well as the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz, TMG). On our website, personal data will be collected only in case of a personal request for contact. The following sections provide information about which data are acquired and how they will be used.

 

Personal data

By using the contact form located on our website, you agree that we will store and use your data pertinent to your inquiry. Your personal data will be used only as far as it is necessary to process the request for contact and a possible subsequent contractual relationship. Your data will be handled confidentially and not forwarded to any third parties.

 

Non-personal data

During each page access, non-personal access data about this activity are stored in a log file. In conjunction with any access, we receive usage data for statistical purposes which could possibly allow an identification based on the IP address.

 

We will use the log data only for internal purposes. This includes file names of accessed files, access date and time, data volume, messages about a successful access, web browser, requesting domain and IP address of the requesting computer.

 

On our website, we are using the open-source software Piwik for the statistical evaluation of visitor accesses. For this purpose, Piwik uses text files (Cookies) that are stored on your computer. The user-specific information generated by the Cookie of this Internet presence is stored on our server here in Germany. Immediately after it has been processed and before it is stored, your IP address is made anonymous. You can prevent that a Cookie is stored on your computer by setting corresponding options in your web browser.



Right of access

You always have the right to request information about your stored data as well as the right to correct, block and delete your stored data. If a deletion conflicts with legal or contractual data retention periods or those subject to commercial or tax laws or other legally established reasons, the data will be blocked instead of deleted.
